Christmas Carol

April 21, 2016: Reshma at Josh Talks, a platform for sharing inspiring stories.

September 9, 2016: Reshma became the first acid attack survivor to ever walk the New York Fashion Week.

'Reshma' is the true, inspiring story of an Indian teenage girl who survived a brutal acid attack and rose to become a human rights activist and model.

While this was not a fundraising campaign people voluntarily donated money when they went on to the Make Love Not Scars website. It collected close to $21K for the world’s first rehabilitation center for acid attack survivors.
March 23, 2017: Make Love Not Scars won The Special Commendation from the Jury for Brand of the Year at the CNBC TV18 India Business Leader Awards (India’s most prestigious business award). At the award ceremony, Reshma made a direct plea to the minister and the who’s who of India’s business leaders to put an end to open sale of acid.

Reshma's story is now a book 'Being Reshma'
